Did you hear about the rose that grew from a crack in the concrete?
Proving nature’s law is wrong it learned to walk without having feet.
Funny it seems, but by keeping its dreams, it learned to breathe fresh air
Long live the rose that grew from concrete when no one else ever cared.
Don McLean: Vincent
What? You thought I’d post some 2Pac since it’s the anniversary of his death, right? Well, this is for Tupac. Astonishingly, Makaveli’s favorite song was this tribute to one of Pac’s biggest heroes — Vincent Van Gogh.
RIP Tupac: June 16, 1971-September 13, 1996
The real Tupac. This is him out of character.

2Pac & Rappin’ 4-Tay: Only God Can Judge Me
I hear the doctor standing over me, screaming I can make it/
Got a body full of bullet holes, laying here naked/
Still I can’t breathe, something’s evil in my IV/
Cause everytime I breathe, I think they killin’ me/
I’m having nightmares, homicidal fantasies/
I wake up strangling, dangled in my bed sheets/
I call the nurse cause it hurts to reminisce/
How did it come to this? I wish they didn’t miss/
Somebody help me, tell me where to go from here/
Cause even Thugs cry, but do the Lord care?
(I’ve been posting a lot of 2Pac lately, and I actually do have other music in my iPod, but who would complain that there is too much 2Pac? Exactly…nobody.)
